On Site Training Classes

I offer classes on most of the 35+ topics covered by the ALOA PRP subject matter. In addition, I have unique classes on servicing electronic hotel locks and servicing and installing residential power-operated automatic gates for access control. I also offer custom-made courses designed to meet the specific needs of the client. You might want to learn a specific skill, learn about a specific product, solve a particular problem, or simply hire me to train your new employees.
Training is a profession unto its own, and to that end, I have professional training credentials from ALOA (ACE CAI) and the Langevin Institute.

Technical Appraisals

All security is ultimately about liability*. In the security field, it is always a good idea to get a technical appraisal from an expert. Many lock makers have been very embarrassed after releasing a product that is quickly defeated by a simple exploit a short time after launch. And this is not their fault. The engineering teams are very good at what they do, but they don’t look at products the same way a seasoned locksmith does. Simply stated, the engineers “dont know what they dont know“. Imagine spending time and money to develop a sophisticated digital door lock only to find out a few weeks after launch that it was exploited through a moisture drain hole with a thin wire! (true story) Imagine developing a padlock that can be opened with a small shaped tool through the keyhole as quickly as the real key! (true story).
I can help you avoid situations like this.
